WEB DEVELOPER

Glendo is looking for a tech-savvy programmer to bridge the creative and technical departments. Responsibilities include:

• Complementing web designer with backend web programming
• Creating and maintaining databases for both online retail and in-house use
• Maintaining well-established visibility and rankings with all popular search engines
• Assisting IT Administrator

Experience and Skills

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ year(s) of related work experience
• Proficiency with:
  • ASP
  • PHP
  • Javascript / AJAX
• Scripting/programming for e-commerce
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Creating and managing a database (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
• Multiple live examples of backend programming for e-commerce
• Network administration
• Programming, with high-level languages such as VB, C++, Java, etc.
• Maintaining multiple servers and client computers:
  • PC hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • PC software installation and support
  • Microsoft Office products
  • Server/client backups

Preferred:

• HTML/CSS knowledge
• XML/XSL knowledge
• Microsoft Small Business Server administration
• AS/400 administration
• Mac experience

Additional Position Information
Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
